Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that keep PSend’s IP pools healthy and protect recipients from abuse.

Last updated · 20 October 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to all PSend accounts, API keys, and traffic. Violations may result in throttling, account gate, suspension, or termination without refund of unused wallet balance where permitted by law.

2. Permission and consent

  • Send only to recipients who have given appropriate consent or another lawful basis under applicable law (including GDPR where relevant).
  • Honor unsubscribe, opt-out, and suppression lists promptly — at latest within 10 business days, sooner where law requires.
  • Do not purchase, rent, or scrape lists of cold addresses for unsolicited bulk mail.

3. Prohibited content

You may not use PSend to send mail that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal goods or services
  • Phishes, spoofs brands, or impersonates others without authority
  • Distributes malware, ransomware, or harmful scripts
  • Involves harassment, threats, or hate content targeting protected groups
  • Promotes high-risk schemes (e.g. pyramid schemes, unlicensed gambling) where restricted by law or mailbox provider policy
  • Contains sexually explicit content involving minors (always prohibited)

4. Technical abuse

  • No open relays, dictionary attacks, or harvested address bombing
  • No forged From/Reply-To headers intended to deceive
  • Authenticate sending domains (SPF, DKIM; DMARC recommended) before high volume
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, account gates, or Planet controls

5. Deliverability thresholds

Sustained bounce rates at or above 5%, or complaint rates at or above 0.1%, may freeze sending until you provide an explanation and Planet clears the gate. Clean your lists before resuming volume.

6. Bulk and marketing mail

Marketing and newsletter traffic must include a clear sender identity and a working unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional mail must not be used to disguise promotional content.

7. Reporting

Report abuse to [email protected]. We investigate credible reports and cooperate with mailbox providers and lawful requests.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP to reflect provider requirements and law. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
